Naming your newborn child after the day of the week your child was born is an traditional Ghanian custom. Kofi meaning "born on a Friday". Accordingly, it makes sense to release Kofi on Friday, August 2, 2024!
Kofi is our new "First Man Modern" series by Tank Standing Buffalo and is his first entry into a series of designs under this banner. While continuing the ancient art of idol depiction, Tank brings a modern sensibility and respect to the artists of the past and their people's deep understanding of the world in which they lived, mastering medicine, astrology, science, architecture, and the many other cultural complexities.
